Well the good news is… I think I figured out how blogging through WordPress works… at least enough to get me going. If you’re reading this and have any good marketing tips, tutorials, podcasts, books, blogs, etc. you find to be inspiring or helpful please share them in the comments below. Just starting to get into the marketing realm, I’ve noticed that it seems to be a great community and people are very willing to share their story and struggles in getting to where they are today. It’s pretty cool and I’m excited that all of my years of being a Digital Multimedia Artist is going to pay off. I’m excited to be using all aspects of what I’m best at. Creating stories, helping people, using a variety of skills, and whichever level the are currently at. Focusing on the tools I need to learn. Spend time learning them on top of everything else. I think this blog will be a good way to keep things organized and documented.

I’m currently pricing out video equipment, business cards, promotional flyers, and stickers. I’ve been listening to the 1-Page Marketing Strategy audiobook, and the Social Media Marketing Podcast (with Michael Stelzner). There’s still lots to do, but keeping organized, utilizing my time and efficiency, staying healthy and using Computron.

If you go to www.xemexmarketing.com you’ll see that I use pizza to corelate to the different monthly marketing packages currently being offered.. I think that Denver has some really good pizza joints and am going to try them all!! I think as this blog gets going, I will doing a lot of rambling, and experimentation with all the capabilities WordPress can do. I have to come up with the script and basic recipe for the :57 second promo project and get that ready to rock. And finish up this never-ended Coursera course. Is the pizza below making you hungry too??

Your brand. In motion – the :57SecondPULSE is coming, built for small brands with big energy.

  • DMs DON’T CONVERT BECAUSE YOUR OFFER IS VAGUE (HERE’S THE FIX)

DMs DON’T CONVERT BECAUSE YOUR OFFER IS VAGUE (HERE’S THE FIX) DMs feel like “free marketing” until you realize they’re just collecting silence. You get messages… but they don’t turn into appointments, purchases, or booked work. That’s not a “DMs don’t work” problem. It’s an offer clarity problem. Most small business owners say something like:…

  • THE FONT RULE THAT MAKES YOUR OFFER READABLE (EVEN ON MOBILE)

THE FONT RULE THAT MAKES YOUR OFFER READABLE (EVEN ON MOBILE) Your landing page or promo might have the right idea—but if the font is wrong, the message fails. The biggest design glitch isn’t “bad branding.” It’s unreadable hierarchy. People can’t understand the offer fast enough, so they bounce. That’s not a “design preference.” It’s…

  • INSTAGRAM REELS THAT DON’T LOOK LIKE REELS (AND STILL GET LEADS)

INSTAGRAM REELS THAT DON’T LOOK LIKE REELS (AND STILL GET LEADS) Reels shouldn’t feel like a trend you’re trying to imitate. The glitch most small business owners have: they make content that looks “cool,” but doesn’t function like a sales asset. People scroll past because the reel doesn’t match the viewer’s job-to-be-done. A good reel…

  • STOP POSTING IN THE DARK: THE WEEKDAY + TIME TRAP SMALL BUSINESSES KEEP FALLING INTO

STOP POSTING IN THE DARK: THE WEEKDAY + TIME TRAP SMALL BUSINESSES KEEP FALLING INTO You can have great content and still lose if you post at the wrong time. Most Denver small business owners don’t realize the content timeline is real-time competition. When your post goes live, it’s fighting for attention in a small…
